The new Audi Q5 offers up two 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine options that vary in power output. Indeed, powering the standard configuration of the new Audi Q5 is a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that manages 248 horsepower and 273 foot-pounds of torque. Drivers looking for more get-up behind the wheel can opt for an available 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that boasts 362 horsepower and 369 foot-pounds of torque. Regardless of the engine versions selected, the Audi Q5 comes equipped with a seven-speed S tronic dual-clutch automatic transmission. Other notable performance features include standard all-wheel drive and front/rear five-link suspension systems.

The base Premium trim comes equipped with a standard seven-inch infotainment display, a ten-speaker Audi audio system, Bluetooth connectivity, and Android Auto/Apple CarPlay functionality. The second-tier Premium Plus trim boosts the tech features with a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, an 8.3-inch touch screen infotainment display, an HD Radio, Apple CarPlay/Android Auto connectivity, and Bluetooth functionality. Stepping to the Prestige trim allows drivers to enjoy a Bang & Olufsen audio system (19 speakers/755-watts) an 8.3-inch touch screen infotainment display, a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, and MMI Navigation plus with voice control.


The Audi Q5 comes to drivers with a careful mix of classic safety features and driver assistance features. Driver assistance features vary by trim while classic safety features are consistent across the trim lineup. Standard classic safety features that come with the base Premium trim include airbags, seat belts, lower anchors and tethers for children (in rear seats), a rearview camera, electronic stability control, and an indirect- tire-pressure monitoring system. Standard driver assistance features that come with the Premium trim range from Audi pre sense basic to Audi pre sense city and win-sensing automatic windshield wipers. Opting for a higher trim provides increased driver assistance features, such as parking system plus, Audi side assist, Audi pre sense rear with rear cross traffic assist and vehicle exit warning, Audi active lane assist, Audi park steering assist, Audi adaptive cruise control with traffic jam assist, and traffic sign recognition.


The Audi Q5 touts a long list of standard and available interior features. Drivers can look forward to standard tri-zone automatic climate control, dark brown walnut natural wood inlays, leather-clad seating surfaces, heated front seats, and ambient LED interior lighting functionality. Possibly coming as a shock to some drivers, the Q5 Premium and Prestige trims come with a very similar set of interior features.
